Technical Program Manager

Expected Level of Knowledge equivalent to 1st Year Graduate Student

*TU Delft is a partner university in the Netherlands. They build the electric vehicle and MIT provides the driverless software

Responsibilities

• Work with all engineering sub teams across MIT and Delft to ensure successful product development

• Create, maintain, communicate and present schedules projects and change content

•  Identify creative ways to overcome obstacles and meet the schedule despite setbacks and advise on best practices for documenting changes on new and existing products.

• Dedication to making things work and commitment to seeing projects through to completion

• Ability to follow processes of system engineering and quickly shift to ad hoc problem solving 

• Attention to detail

Recommended Experience

• Experience creating various reports and tools for managing multiple workstreams simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills

• Bonus: Experience with projects related to software development

Time Commitment: 25-30 hours/week

• Team all hands meeting Tuesdays 8-9pm, sub team breakouts 9-930

• Saturday working session typically 10-5

• Time throughout week to work early mornings to engage counterparts at Delft
