Path Planning Engineer
Expected Level of Knowledge equivalent to 3rd Year Undergraduate Student
Responsibilities
Develop high quality, performant, and reliable software in C++ and Python
Engage with state estimation and controls teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
Manage and improve existing algorithms that involve graphs, linear algebra, basic dynamics, and mathematical optimization
Personal Traits
Ability and eagerness to learn and work with new software package/systems
Commitment to doing what's needed to make the car work
Patience and honesty. Especially when things aren’t working.
Recommended Experience
Robotics Science and Systems
Principles of Autonomy + Cognitive Robotics
Any upper division algorithms course in CS
Time Commitment:10-15 hours/week
Team all hands meeting Tuesdays 8-9pm, sub team breakouts 9-930pm
Saturday working session typically 10-5
