The Event

We start on the evening of Friday, April 24 with a welcome from our sponsors, and the students will receive their welcome package including both hardware and any software/datasets to be prepared for a full day of challenges the next day.

All day Saturday, April 25, teams will be asked to complete a series of challenges designing algorithms to race a mini autonomous vehicle through the indoor track with the goal to complete the track with the fastest time and the least error. Each team will have their chance to race their cars at the end and the teams will be ranked by their completion time, error rate and efficiency. The overall event will end at around 9PM Saturday with a networking mixer.
